How We Help

  • We are the focus for the delivery of specialist children's services providing facilities for visiting health and education professionals to carry out assessments, work with children and meet their parents.

  • Working in partnership with parents, our highly trained, experienced staff and volunteers offer individual help, early intervention and therapeutic care in order to provide each child with maximum life chances.

  • Working closely with consultant paediatricians, speech & language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, members of Wiltshire's early intervention team and our linked Children's Centres, we provide an effective 'team around the child' offering a comprehensive package of specialist support.

  • We also have strong liaison links with health visitors, social workers, portage tutors, early years settings, primary schools, specialist learning centres and special schools.

  • Regular ongoing communication between staff, therapists and parents ensures that every play session provides rich, valuable learning experiences.

  • We can offer opportunities for parents to access specific training and to meet together to provide mutual support for each other.

  • By providing inreach and outreach support services to local mainstream early years settings we can upskill staff and promote good quality inclusive practice through professional mentoring, targeted specialist training and the modelling of appropriate working techniques and strategies.
